MOON SALUTATION DURING WORKING HOURS
CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOP
In this workshop, we train our gaze and our writing to focus on what George Perec called "the infra-ordinary": that background music that surrounds our daily lives and whose portrayal distinguishes the writer from the non-writer. We flee from the exotic to encounter the endemic, the seemingly banal yet intimate. That's where the celebration lies.
“We must question the brick, the cement, the glass, our table manners…,” Perec said. We will start with non-fiction and then make the leap to fiction.
(Workshop name inspired by a verse by Luis García Montero)
